Stunning property — there are 6 chalets and 1 family bungalow nestled among a 22-acre tea plantation, a walking path, lots of flowers and trees and right by the Castlereigh Reservoir. My elderly parents and I had a very comfortable 2-night stay in the family bungalow. The staff are friendly! We had several meals on-site during our stay; breakfast and lunch served outdoors with incredible views and dinner served in a cozy dining room. My fave was kayaking on Castlereigh Reservoir — extremely serene and peaceful! Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was wonderful!

Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. The staff was very friendly and accomdating. The location had a spectacular view of the tree plantations. Fine dining was an exquiste experience.

Both the owner and the caretaker contacted us (over the phone) and make sure we were comfortable. Both bathrooms were spacious and had hot water with good pressure for showers. Amazing, exceptional, and very well thought out - That’s how we would describe our stay here While one has been to many (arguably) more scenic locations, however staying at this hotel has been the best experience ever. From the moment we got to the property, we were pampered thoroughly, be it the food or offering to take us to the attractions or arranging the specific vehicle we wanted, or even the smallest details in terms of how the room should be kept, table arrangements etc. Must say that Dushyanta (the GM) has put in a lot of efforts in finding the best team possible and the results are there to be seen – every person on the staff here is willing to go over and beyond their job, wanting to make sure the guests are comfortable. Special thanks to Chef Royce, the pastry chef and their entire team for serving sumptuous 6 course meals, catering to all our dietary constraints - each item served was just plain delicious; to Janaka, Chandu and others for taking care of us and to Amanda for figuring out our travel related details. We will surely be back next time we are in Sri Lanka.

The bedroom was a sanctuary of tranquility, with a plush king-sized bed and luxurious linens that provided a restful night’s sleep. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the soft lighting to the comfortable seating area where we could unwind before bedtime. One of the highlights of our stay was the Rocell equipped bathroom, complete with a rainfall shower. It was the perfect place to unwind and indulge. The amenities at Greens were top-notch, including a terrace with panoramic views. We also appreciated the convenient location, which allowed us to easily explore the city’s attractions and dining options. Overall, our experience at Greens was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail, luxurious amenities, and stunning views made it a night to remember. We can’t wait to return and experience more of what this amazing apartment has to offer.
