Happy to provide extra toiletries and coffee when we asked and showed us where the laundry was. We've stayed here twice now and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Hotel feels very safe as the property is gated.

The photos make the rooms seem darker than they really are, particularly those facing the outside. If you prefer more natural light, select the outside (versus lane) facing rooms. The rooms are a bit small, but very well designed, appointed, easy to use, and luxurious for the price. Location is excellent. The seafood restaurant downstairs, kingi, has a great vibe, food, and drinks, as does cafe hanoi, which is next door, but not affiliated with the hotel. We requested adjoining rooms, and got two at the end of the hall with a central door, so felt like a suite (could put our luggage and other items in the shared vestibule). The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and polite, including reception, concierge, and housekeeping. Service is excellent.

Electric car-charging is available on site, with prior booking at the reception required. Great appartment with comfortable beds. Staff were lovely. Close to shopping and plenty of restaurants.

Staff was super kind and friendly, they even got us some beers for free from their home as they don't sell any alcohol in NZ on Christmas Day. Legends! Apartment was super clean and comfortable.

Very clean, cozy, good location. The gardens looked perfect, they are doing a great job do keep the facilities gorgeous. Tongariro alpine Crossing 50 km away, for those in for fishing Tongariro river is just behind the corner as you simply get out from the lodge there.
