The location was ideal for our venue and convenience to restaurants. Pillows were too flat and bed sheets seemed to pull off the mattress. Extra seat in room was too hard and not comfortable at all. I thought I was booking a luxury hotel experience and it fell way short for the money I spent. I will book Marriott type for less money and more convenience in the future.

I initially booked a stay less than a mile away at the DoubleTree. When I walked into the hallway of my room, I could smell smoke and someone was having a party. The carpet looked dingy and there were people sitting outside at night. I immediately went to the front desk and canceled my stay. I drove a minute down the road to the Marriott and I realized I should have just booked a stay there. It was much better, cleaner, and quieter.

I always enjoy staying at the Springhill Suites. Free parking on premises is very convenient. Checking in is made easy. The bed and beddings are fresh, clean and comfy for a good night's rest. Then a nutritional breakfast is served with something for everyone to enjoy.just like at home.

The location within Raleigh is great. 1 mile walk to the Convention Center, where I attended a 4-day conference. 1 mile walk to the Alexander Family YMCA, and a couple of blocks away from a variety of restaurants, bars, health food market etc. Bedding was very comfortable and a good value; king room was spacious; 12th floor allowed less impact from street noises below. This worked for me, but I could see how people may find the attributes of this aging structure a deterrent.

    1) nice location close to the big shopping mall with a lot of restaurants 2) stylish and clean room 3) free parking 4) although we lived in Courtyard, the manager of Residence Inn by Marriott (which is located next door) let us have breakfast there because there was almost nothing during breakfast in our hotel

This hotel is simply amazing. The location is great but more importantly the staff is top notch. The outside Lounge/bar area is awesome. The rooms and hallways are super clean with a nice scent. The registration hosts Rob and Maria are super nice. The craft cocktails that the bar serve are top notch. This hotel is the place to stay if you want that Colorado/Asheville that meets Raleigh Vibe. Great job Longleaf keep up the good vibe.

Rooms are minimalistic, but roomy and comfortable. We’ve stayed at Aloft Hotels before, and always enjoy our stays there. Staff are friendly, and they have a fair workout room.

I've never been disappointed with ALOFT. Best hotel ever and highly affordable. I've stayed at the ALOFT in Jersey, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and each hotel is amazing and affordable. Also one of the few hotels that has a shuttle service
