Extremely well located near all amenities and the beach, this is probably the only hotel in the area not registered as "resort" so no resort taxes apply, which makes it more economical than any other place in the area

Beautiful landmark and location, the lobby was more or less maintained, the guest rooms were not. The sink had cracks in the finish, the furnishings are old and tired. The mattress was horrific. The boiler was unable to keep up with the demand for hot water at peak times. I have always loved this property, but JW Marriott would be ashamed that these rooms are part of the Luxury Collection in his namesake portfolio.

The location is hard to beat. You are steps from Waikiki's beach and from pretty much everything you need. The amenities in the room and resort were fine. You have pretty much whatever you need there from the ABC store downstairs to the gym and pool. The view we had from our room on the 24th floor was exceptional. The best attribute is definitely the location though. There is a plethora of things to do nearby.

Great location, Great views. Pleasant Pool Area that wasn't too busy. Very clean. Nice room decor/vibe. Staying here definitely contributed to a very memorable holiday

Parking was overpriced room overpriced hidden charges not revealed until checkout sofa-bed was extremely uncomfortable staff were extremely helpful especially the valet group overall extremely disappointed for a Marriott courtyard

The rooms are clean and modern. They are spacious rooms and appear to be recently renovated which is much better compared to a lot of hotel rooms in Waikiki which are dated. The Marriott is well located on the quieter end of Waikiki so you don't get all the noise and get a decent night's sleep. Having a hire car place within the complex is incredibly handy and because you're at the edge of Waikiki you can skip the traffic and head straight out to visit other parts of the island.

Think it was the worst courtyard Marriott I’ve stayed in.

I would never stay at this hotel again. The checkin staff are very unhelpful and non compassionate & even if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member it really has no bearing. Its overpriced and crowded. Unfair when you are spending thousands of dollars and you cant even get a lounge chair or umbrella at the pool or at the beach without paying $$$$$. People hog the free chairs so unless you get to the pool at 8am you don't have a chance!!! very very overpriced!

Location was ideal for attending dance festival we had registered for. Very convenient for taking city busses to a variety of activities and tours we had on our itinerary during our stay. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants, the zoo.

Fast enough WiFI to watch YouTube, Netflix & Amazon Prime. This is a major decision when deciding which hotel; stayed at the Marriott on Kuhio, and was unable to stream movies in the room. Hmmm. Other deciding factor is breakfast included…
