Everything in this hotel has 5* for me. Starting with the welcoming staff when you get off the taxi and arrive at the reception area. The rooms are so clean and have everything that you need. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of options from fried rice to toast and scrambled eggs, a variety of fruits, overnight oats, granola... We stayed for 2 nights in the beginning of our trip into Thailand and we booked 2 more nights before we had to fly back home and we would stay there again without a doubt.

There is a 7/11 inside the hotel and it shares the same building (and breakfast buffet) at the Mercure Hotel. Room was very simple, with no frills or amenities but bed was comfortable and they provide water bottles everyday. Breakfast buffet was well-served with a good range of juices, international food and local dishes, and an egg station.

The tour agency lady at Mercure hotel lobby is very friendly and she arranged for me a dinner river cruise with a birthday surprise. The hotel also set birthday surprise with cake and balloon. Overall my Bangkok stay was nice and safe. I will stay at IBIS BANGKOK again.

Excellent location, great breakfast and friendly staff. For a fee you can use the rooftop pool of the Mercure hotel (same building).
