We had the spectacular city view which we asked for. ALL the staff were excellent, very polite, helpful & patient. Excellent English. Breakfast was delicious every morning with a fantastic range of food & view. Hotel is so close to Sky Train line. So much to do in Bangkok & we got around very easily using this! We had a fantastic stay in Bangkok & The Mercure Hotel.

There is a 7/11 inside the hotel and it shares the same building (and breakfast buffet) at the Mercure Hotel. Room was very simple, with no frills or amenities but bed was comfortable and they provide water bottles everyday. Breakfast buffet was well-served with a good range of juices, international food and local dishes, and an egg station.

The tour agency lady at Mercure hotel lobby is very friendly and she arranged for me a dinner river cruise with a birthday surprise. The hotel also set birthday surprise with cake and balloon. Overall my Bangkok stay was nice and safe. I will stay at IBIS BANGKOK again.

Excellent location, great breakfast and friendly staff. For a fee you can use the rooftop pool of the Mercure hotel (same building).
