It was an older motel that had recently been renovated. So a very pleasant room. They also provided lovely bread to toast with a nice selection of spreads. Plus selection of teas and coffee. It even had a mini outdoor seating area at back of room that was nice for breakfast. I had some special requests for check in and they were very obliging in trying to help out.

Hospitality was excellent and the motel was comfy and all that you need was available. Some hotels don't offer what was available in this country motel.Highly recommend to anyone. Location was very good and market just across the road and great bush walking behind the property. Thank you Albion .

We had 3 rooms for our family of 3 adults. We attended a wedding in nearby Taradale. This is a lovely old-style motel in a historic country town. All rooms were tastefully renovated. It exceeded my expectations. All rooms were very neat and clean. All the rooms were large and comfortable. Lots of green space. The Motel is located within walking distance of the center of town and all amenities. Reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great little boutique motel with everything you need for a few nights stay . Complimentary sourdough bread and condiments left for us for breakfast as well as ample supply of tea and coffee . Really friendly staff who went out of their way to accomodate one of our travellers with a disability . We will definitely be back when staying in Castlemaine again.

The motel is tiny and hidden from the road. The bedroom faces a quiet dirt road behind the main road, with a simple but charming and comfortable area to spend your time. There is in the fridge bread for breakfast with all you need, a lovely touch. The happy colours outside reflect the attitude of the owner.
