All the rooms at Cabot Trail Motel offer a lake-view and are air conditioned. Fitted with carpeted flooring, each comes with a telephone, cable TV and a bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer. Some open out onto a patio.

The water views are spectacular! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable of the Cabot Trail area. The breakfast was exceptionally good. Was disappointed there was no vacancy to stay an extra night, will definitely stay at the Cabot Trail motel again on our next trip out East :)

We were the only ones staying at the motel, it was a cold Dec, day and it was so nice to go to the room where the heat had been turned on and a few lamps as well.

The location of this motel is great, on the water, with great views. While the property is a bit worn, the rooms are priced accordingly and the space was comfortable. Staff was friendly and generous with information about the area, including eating spots in nearby Baddeck.

Everything was perfect and more than met my expectations. The room was spacious and clean with everything anyone would need for their stay. I loved sitting on the back deck in the morning with my coffee (supplied by the motel), enjoying the lake. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and again, everything very clean and well organized. I would definitely book with Trailsman Lodge on my next visit.

This was a blast from the past as it is a motel that we don't usually get to expericence. All rooms are waterfront with big windows to enjoy. The property is older but nicely maintained and equipped with comfy beds and kitchenette. It was a great start for our trip around the Cabot Trail.

The Telegraph House Motel is in a converted old house. It’s lovely. Our room was a good size, looked to be recently updated and had a view of the lake. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were sufficient plugins to charge our devices. We were able to walk to the harbour and the small boardwalk. There was a “parlour” that you could use to relax in. We were on the third floor and there is no elevator so had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs but I knew this when I booked this motel.

Amazing place to chill for the night, I just wish I had booked two nights instead of only one. Perfect view on the lake, room has all the comforts including hairdryer and hair conditioner. Free parking spot in front of the room's door. Comfy and clean bed. Nice and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

This place shouldn't be allowed to call themselves a motel there's no parking , stairs only to get to your room and it's confusing,no tv have to hook up through your phone, don't know how city can allow them to operate, won't be back and won't recommend it either?
