Hotel Motel Belle Plage overlooks St. Lawrence Bay, just 2 minutes' walk from the local ferry. It boasts a restaurant which specializes in fish and seafood. The hotel features a private beach and large stone fireplace in the lobby.

The staff went way out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable, including very quickly and satisfactorily addressing a need that unexpectedly arose. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was very well located, close to the ferry with a beautiful beach by the Saint-Laurent estuary. Our room was located close to a little terrace with chairs & tables where we were able to eat sheltered from the wind. The location was a short drive away from Matane’s lighthouse and downtown, which was fun to visit. The room had an old motel charm, but don’t expect anything fancy or modern!

This place is a roadside motel that we booked at the last minute due to illness while on vacation. It met our needs for a place to stay. But remember, it's a roadside motel.

The motel staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, very cute (nautical theme), and the beds were comfy. The best part though was all the seating and the heated pool looking over the St-Lawrence River. Spectacular view of the sunset.

This was a little surprise to be honest. Motels can be very hit and miss but this one was great. We didn't have the water front room but it was still great. Clean, cozy, little dated but still very comfortable.

Great location, just in front of the beach. We had a side sea view room, which was nice too. The motel is about an hour drive from Rimouski. Good for stopover if you are heading to Gaspe

Everything about this motel was great. The room was spotless, well appointed and decorated, very comfortable and right on the water. The marine blue and white decor was perfect for the motel's location. The bed and linens were excellent. While it was located on a busy highway the rooms were very quiet and facing the beautiful Saint Laurent river. I would highly recommend.
