We had a great stay! Very clean, comfortable and safe motel. Loved the comfortable high quality beds and pillows, as well as the hot high volume showers. We were always met by helpful and cheerful staff / owners who were happy to assist. They loaned us a fan, kettle, and gave great advice about where to swim. This hotel is a great place to stay to explore the Powell River area. Highly recommend staying here!

Location was fairly good for anyone not needing to be in the town of Powell River and closer to Saltery Bay Provincial Park and the ferry terminal there to Earls Cove. The upper most rooms were further from highway so a bit more quiet. While the carpet was dirty, the rest of the room was fairly clean. It was about the least costly of nearby motels and B&Bs.

About three of the rooms have ocean views through the trees. WE had the best room for that so we stayed for 4 nights. Staff is very friendly and always available. It is not super modern but whatever is there works and is clean.

I always stay at Beyond Bliss, it is a fully furnished unit, not a motel room. You do need to carry your gear up the stairs so not suitable for folks with mobility challenges. Love the deck and the sunsets, located on the main street you have restaurants, coffee shops and lovely boutique shops to visit without using your car.
