None too specious if you have large suitcases but fine, you didnt come to Nikko to sit in a room all day ;). Plenty of free parking space if you have a rental car. Everybody can use them privately whenever they wish during the time slots 5.00-11.00 and 15.00‐23h00). Very nice people - they gave us the map of the town and offered to visit some very nice places that we had not heard about previously (a park of stone budas) and tried hard to explain about the weather on mount Nantai:-) Impecably clean shared restrooms, a very wide choice of bathroom amenities, free tea and coffee is also available. Close to the main street but not on the road, so was very quiet. Since we only stayed for 2 nights, we didn't require the cleaning of the room and we got a small present for each one of us instead. The location is walking distance from the JR train station and from the world heritage site. Our host accompanied us to the train station when we left.
