The Midway Pacific Lodge wasn't suitable for us. The rooms were not good and smells. I was grateful when my family moved to a better part of the motel. My family is planning to travel to Wellington every year at the same time and we would like to book into the same part not the Midway Pacific Lodge.

The motel is in an excellent location on the Esplanade with views across the bay and harbour.. The Esplanade was just across the road, convenient for walking or jogging or a stroll to the Settlers Museum. Our room was well equipped and had two comfortable arm chairs, also patio doors for with access to table and chairs for an evening drink watching the sun set. This was our favourite motel on our tour of New Zealand.
