Shasta behind the motel. The room we stayed in was clean and surprisingly modern and renovated. The bed and pillows were decently comfortable. The parking was free and safe which was great. It was a simple check-in and out process. There was complimentary breakfast in the morning but we did not avail of it as we had to leave early. This place is dog friendly. It was a good stay for a stopover.

We arrived late but our keys were taped to the office door. They had even turned on the heater so our room was already nice and warm. We would definitely stay here again.

She also alerted me to a serious traffic jam on the freeway that delayed my arrival over an hour, due to an accident. She put the papers I needed to sign in my room, and a dog treat, because I would arrive after the office was closed. I liked the small size and ground level of the motel, and its quaint, rural wood walkway. It was fairly convenient off the freeway, and felt secluded.AnitaSolo traveller

I don't think the description mentions that a train runs pretty close. We appreciate that earplugs were offered, although the train didn't wake us during the night and didn't "toot" its horn until after 7am when we needed to be up anyway.

It has a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee pot. I used them all. The bed was excellent and I rested very well. The room was very clean and mostly functional, but very cramped.
