Ice cold bia in the fridge at supermarket prices. The food nearby was run by an interesting couple who gave me the best chicken I've had in Vietnam to date. In the morning at 7am Mr Hung took me for a grand tour of the busy fishing harbour and the glorious clean golden sandy beaches. His pride was obvious. The ladies rowing the water taxis with their feet while eating and chatting were amazing. Mr Hung offered me breakfast but I'd already had some. The property is almost new and everything was in squeaky clean condition and beautifully built. The balcony was a nice extra I'd not expected for the money After I explained that my feet were painful the owners gave me two pairs of slip-on shoes to see if they would help reduce the impact on my feet. He refused to accept payment.
