From its hilltop location a 15-minute walk from Kobe Electric Railway Arima Onsen Station, it offers sweeping views of Arima Onsen. This hotel is serene and peaceful. We booked it due to the 8 private onsen available to those staying here as well as the option of having one in the room - these were all fantastic. The room we stayed in was huge and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and some spoke English, which was a bonus for us.

Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Definitely the best stay in Japan so far! The host and his family made us felt welcomed as soon as we arrived creating a warm atmosphere. We enjoyed a really nice tea ceremony conducted by the host’s mum. Our room overlooked an amazing garden, was very clean and spacious. We rent Yukatas for free, and the host was always so enthusiastic to help us taking photos. The ryokan has two private onsen, both very beautiful, but it is very well located to use any of the public ones too. Last but not least, the host drove us back to the station.

The private baths are amazing too and we never had to wait to use them, you definitely don’t need to go outside to the public baths. Our room was beautiful and relaxing and the futons were super comfortable too. We also got a framed picture as a gift!

It offers rental bicycles and a free shuttle to/from JR Kinosaki Station. This is my second stay and it's a fantastic place to unwind and relax. I have minimal Japanese but my English speaking host and the rest of the staff put me at ease. The food was amazing and plentiful and the private onsens were straight out of an Instagram story. Book here, you won't be disappointed

Jizoyu Hot Spring is a 10-minute walk, and Ichinoyu Hot Spring is a 15-minute walk. The rooms and baths are beautiful. It's nice that the thermal baths have an internal and external part. Beautiful indoor garden, nice yukatas. We felt very spoiled in this hotel. Dinner and breakfast were huge, even too much, it's a shame to waste so much food. Transport to the center and stations on request. The staff was so polite that it almost made me feel stupid (women carried our suitcases for us). I highly recommend staying at this property.

1. They have a free car park space onsite. 2. They provide free shuttle bus that runs from 4 pm to 10pm to take guests/pick up to/from the town centre where all the public onsens and shops located. 3. The hotel has its own private onsen. After trying both the hotel's and one of the public onsens, I like the hotel's onsen better as it was not crowded as the public one. 4. The breakfast they served was good. We quite enjoyed it. 5. Friendly staff 6. Lovely Ryokan
Exceptional customer service at this family run Ryokan (thanks to our host, Van). The traditional rooms are gorgeous and the 3 private onsens are great. Whilst quite a bit not to my (somewhat unadventurous) taste, the traditional japanese food offered as part of the stay is exquisitely prepared and of very high quality.
The room was very well kept and clean. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. About 5 mins walk from the station. The ryokan allows one free use of the private onsen for 45 mins which you have to book during check-in.
Amazing Ryokan experience, we had the tajima beef kaiseki which was phenomenal. They accommodated for my husband's shellfish allergy as well. The room was clean and spacious and the service was excellent. There are nice private onsens too on the property. Our host Ayuri was extremely energetic and friendly, I had seen good reviews about her from other people here and she definitely lives upto it! Ayuri さん、 英語頑張ってくださいね! We wish you the best for everything ☺️
Ryokan Tsubakino location is almost central towards the Kinosaki Onsen district but yet still hidden in the quiet side of the whole town area, which made it a perfect location to stay. With its central point, walking to the town's famous onsens are manageable. Food provided by the hotel, Breakfast and Dinner Kaiseki Menu were superb and very fresh as well, thoroughly replenished our day.
Perfect location with enclosed balcony overlooking the river, within easy walking distance of all seven onsens. The attentive service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including catering for us being vegetarian. The ryokan and room were stunning and the private onsen a treat!
Adorable staff, nice place, comfortable room and hot spring! Staying here is a wonderful experience in Aroma Onsen.

Traditional inn (ryokan) with fabulous dinner and breakfast that were works of art, which also included tickets to all the local onsens. Very hospitable and helpful staff. Large room and decently sized bed. Lovely atmosphere with their own private hot springs bath that you can book.
