We loved the views and the location. Everything was available in the kitchen for when we didn't eat out. You could feel that the owner put some love into the place and our hostess Federica, who met us and showed us around, was delightful. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and the convenience of catching the trains to the other towns at the bottom of the hill.

it’s difficult to find affordable accommodation in cinque terre, however Hotel Meri is great in terms of value for money due to its breakfast (real coffee) and also it’s location being a few stops away from the super crowded towns of cinque terre Also one thing to take note would be to check with the information counter at framura train station for the shuttle bus timing to Costa. Without the shuttle bus it will be a 45 minutes hike up to the hotel which you should try at least once for the good views, but not all the time when you want to head back and rest

There is also a good restaurant right downstairs, so that couldnt be easier. If you are going to travel to Cinque Terre, the hotel is bit far from the station, but there are a lot og parking spots there, so its easy to drive to the station and take the train from there!
