Superlative reviews raise suspicion, but my recent stay at S Hotel Boutique deserves nothing but superlatives. I felt at home from the second I walked through the door, despite my appearance (clad in sweaty and partially ripped cycling kit). The hotel staff was kind, professional and welcoming. The room: delightfully large, stylish, and sleek. And it came with a balcony. Excellent breakfast, too. Special shout-out to Sophia for the drinks service and restaurant tips and Tylos for his help with packing and shipping my precious bicycle. Very much appreciated. A memorable stay. If you're in Thessaloniki, this is the hotel I would recommend. Wholeheartedly so.

Staff is very welcoming and professional. Beds are supercomfortable and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is way above most that you ever had in a hotel. Second time we booked we received welcoming cookies as well. The bar - restaurant on top is also quite nice (we enjoyed having a beer under an olive tree at floor 8). City center is about 20 minutes walk and sea side even closer.

Located within 1 km of Aristotelous Square and less than 1 km of Church of Agios Dimitrios in the centre of Thessaloniki, Q Luxury Rooms provides accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. It was delightful to be back at Q for the night at the end of our Greek island holiday. The owner kindly kept and washed a couple of clothing items that we’d left behind a few weeks earlier. We were in the room on the top floor that opens onto a roof terrace with 360’ views of Thessaloniki. The room itself was cosy for the 4 of us but ideal for what we needed. We’ll be back in the future. One thing to note for this particular room - you need to take one set of stairs after the lift, to reach the room, so not suitable for anyone who’d have difficulty doing so. Q is within walking distance from the port (allow a good 15 min with cases) and there are plenty of shops and eateries nearby, including a 24 hour bakery/restaurant which was a lifesaver at 11pm with hungry children.
