Bernardo and his sister Annabella welcomed us like if we were family! They took time to show us the town and helped to find out a restaurant opened on Chistmas Eve. The breakfast was reinvented every morning to let us try all the traditional food. All in all, it felt like meeting good old friends! If you're looking to make the best of Ouro Preto, you have to stay there!

This was our favourite place we stayed in Minas Gerais, and it is because of the brilliant owners and their team. Simply the friendliest and most helpful place we have been in Brazil, with tips on where to go and what to see, an amazing breakfast, beautifully presented, with an option to be served in a stand alone conservatory area or in your room, and an ideal location just outside of Ouro Preto but easy to get into town when you want to. Our children were so looked after and happy, could not ask for more. We'll be back!

Our room was very big, super comfortable bed and no noises at night. The breakfast is soooo good! One of the best we had on our trip. And the owner is very lovely! She gave us tips what to do and where to go in Ouro Preto. Also the cats are cute :) Would recommend it 100%

The hosts, Fabricio and Romulo were very attentive, friendly and kind! Caco, the dog was also so sweet and quiet! Silvia kept everything super clean and organized! Now the breakfast was absolutely amazingly delicious! Fabricio made it fresh every morning! I highly recommend Casa dos Meninos! It is only a few steps from the main square. Breakfast is delicious with home made jams and pao de queijo. There are 2 dogs, at least 1 cat, and in the morning can see wild monkeys and parrots outside on the terrace. A lovely and peaceful place. Also, the host speaks some English, very helpful.
