37 km from Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Lanark, New Lanark Self Catering Waterhouses offers accommodation with access to a sauna and indoor pool. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. This 4-star apartment offers private entrance.

New Lanark was one of our favourite places in the area when we were living in Scotland, because of its nature and touching history. We would often go there for walks and looking for badges at sunset. We came back this time as "tourists" and stayed in this beautiful waterhouse which has all the comforts and space without too much luxury, reflecting instead the spirit and memories of the place. Still the rooms were all very big with big and very comfortable beds. The river running under the windows, just magic. We also did the Annie McLeod experience which is beautiful, my daughter loved it. This is not a place like any other.

Everything was perfect! Honestly couldn't ask for a better place. The horses were very friendly as well as the small dogs and cats which my little one loved. The beds were very comfy and easy to sleep in. The kitchen had everything you would need including milk! The rest of the facilities had everything you needed as well, bubble bath, shampoo, towels etc. The hosts were very friendly and kind and recommended a few places for us to visit whilst on our stay. The area was very calm and quiet which made it easy to relax, the only noises were of the country side which is perfect. It was also very easy to find! 10/10 Would stay again! Highly reccomend!

The cottage was very clean and warm, with an excellent kitchen and bathroom. We had more than what we needed when it came to cooking equipment, and the bubble bath was very appreciated. It was lovely to pet the horses and to he greeted by a very affectionate farm cat each morning!

What a lovely stay we had. So close to Falls of Clyde. Feels like middle of no where, but ten minutes and you're in Lanark etc. Loved to be see all the horses, sheep, dogs and cats during our stay. Lovely being around horses again, especially being able to see the new foal at one day old. Lots of places to visit. Will be back

A large room and bathroom in a personal home. Not expensive. Handy location for our drive - not far off main roads. Free-standing bath provided amusement but was not in use. It is tranquil. Happy and sweet dog! Fine that we arrived earlier than expected and left very early. Good tips for the evening - drink at the Crown and dinner at the local Italian, thank you. A new family dinosaur trail just opened in town for the summer. We took a late evening drive to New Lanark - very very special and interesting for history buffs.

The location is fabulous, being part of the New Lanark Heritage Village. Great setting next to the river. The restaurant and bar were lovely too. Our Waterhouse was ideal for two people and dogs. Kitchen facilities were excellent, even though I didn’t cook while we were there.

the cottage was a really comfortable size, and so clean …. brilliant for myself, a 14yr old and my dog. The location was a fabulous working farm, and we were lucky enough to be there at lambing time too! Everyone was warm and friendly, I never felt unwelcome and found the facilities to be more than I expected, there was even bubble bath for our aching post-hike muscles.

Margaret was the perfect host and couldn't do enough for us. She was happy to accommodate our little dog. The room was very comfortable and had an ensuite shower room. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. There was a lovely large conservatory to relax in. The property is in a quiet location and very easily accessible for the local town and countryside. It was immaculately clean. I would highly recommend this property and we will be returning again soon.
