Loved the balcony overlooking the sea. It had a breeze, and was shady in the afternoon. There were lots of open stairs which connected the floors going up the Cliffside. There were larger sitting areas with big lounge chairs on 2 levels which all could use. Under trees looking over the sea. Fabulous breakfast which you choose the night before! Loved it. Close to the Akrotiri Archeological Museum and site. Could walk to Red beach, and 5 or 6 taverns right on the water, only a block away. Great food. From the wharf you could do a boat trip which drops you to the Black and White beaches. They cone by every 1/2 hour so you can stay as long as you like and go to another spot. We loved it. We walked into the village in the late afternoon... about 20 minutes. Then we strolled the streets looking for the sunset, Great place. Loved it.

All the stuff in coco-mat hotel is so friendly and helpful, the rooms are so clean, the furniture is so elegant, the bed soooo comfortable.. the restaurant is to much clean and they make delicious food 💯 we like every thing in the hotel and we believe that it deserve 5 stars

The view was breathtaking and it is so relaxing. Waking up to see out over the sea and to have breakfast outside at your room was lovely, room service is free. The food was excellent, carefully prepared and good suggestions/tips from the staff. The service was out of this world, so friendly and always helpful, with any requests or particular needs, never experienced the likes of it before, even from any 5 star hotel. Can’t rate our stay highly enough.

Spectacular view and super staff, we enjoyed everything. We walked from bus station and it was quit challenging because we had the luggage, so maybe is good to book transportation with villa as they already recommand you before arrival😀

This is an absolutely unique accommodation in the sense that you are staying at the caldera side of the island enjoying the spectacular views, but at the same time having the opportunity to go for a swim as the accommodation is located at sea level and close to the so-called Caldera Beach - which is one of only a handful of small beaches on the caldera side of the island, and the only one accessible by car. All the other expensive accommodations overlook the Caldera but since they are located on a cliff, you never get to swim in the sea unless you drive to a different part of the island. Me and my girlfriend strongly believe that going to an island does not make sense if you won't swim in the sea, and so even though we spent almost 3 weeks at a cheaper part of the island, we also wanted to try the caldera-side with the views for the last two nights before we leave, so we spend the extra money to stay here, and also swim in the caldera itself. For this, this accommodation is perfect, and possibly the only one on the island that fulfills these criteria. Also, it is a traditional cave house, but with all the modern amenities that one might require. This is a very romantic experience with a beautiful terrace directly by the sea. We also got to see the sunrise once which was beautiful. In high season when the sun is high, and sets further in the northwest, rather than at the end of September when we stayed there, you would probably also experience beautiful sunsets. Check-in and check-out were easy as it was more typical of an Airbnb-style check-in where you let yourself in using a key box. The owner is also quite responsive in case of questions. There is a small parking by the Remezzo restaurant near the accommodation and the Caldera Beach, if you come by car or are using a transfer.

Can't say enough positive things about Arcana Villas, Neella and Anastasia. From waiting up until midnight to receive us when we arrived to delicious fresh breakfast every morning to helping my wife find medical attention when she had an unexpected medical event - simply the best part of our 4 week stay in Greece was our 6 days at Arcana. They even booked the events we wanted to participate in around town for us; including a yacht tour of the island which Anastasia managed to get upgraded for us from the originally booked sailboat tour. How we wish we could have stayed here longer. Indeed we will in the future!

I spent 1 week in September with my family in this beautiful house. The view from the breakfast terrace as well as from the terrace with the grandiose whirlpool are sensational and hard to describe. We used the whirlpool every day and let the day end comfortably with wine / beer - wonderful! The house is fully equipped and nothing is missing . From our host we were provided with a generous starter pack (coffee, milk, eggs, cheese, honey, jam, biscuits, mineral water ..... and a very good wine 🙂 ..) welcomed. Stavros met us at the door to show us everything in person! From the start, it was an amazing experience. You can expect a beautiful cave apartment which is the perfect little retreat for you and a loved one. All updated inside, so it's modern with a cozy feel. Not only is the cave fantastic, so is the hose Stavros. He helped us in many ways we never expected. He goes above and beyond to help people, to the extent of getting our lost luggage AFTER we left for a different island! This man is an absolute legend, can definitely expect THE BEST!
