Hostel Osara is a community more than everything. It really triggered my creativity and I’m really glad to have met everyone who stayed there. Arman is a very chill host. Never seen such a place in Bihar. Walls have art. Furniture is antique and design is Portuguese. Yellow walls, red floor. Hosts are warm. Home cooked vegan meal. Unbelievable. In the middle of nowhere. It is a heritage property. My dog Luna loved it. Caretaker Rupesh was sweet. Mind blowing. Ideal for Outstation traveller. Doesn’t feel like Bihar for a change.Awesome balcony, farm fresh veggies. If only alcohol was allowed in BIhar. 10/10 without any second thoughts. I am definitely coming back here soon.

This has been one of my favorite stays in India out of the 3 weeks I’ve been here! We had good service, the room was very nice, and the property is beautiful. The hot water actually worked and was very hot. We really enjoyed having a ground room floor and being able to park our motorcycles right outside the window. Dinner was also delicious, as was their milk tea.

We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.
