We stayed in one of the Bull Stables cottages and it was perfect. It's not a self-catering unit, so bear that in mind, however, there are facilities on the property where you can cook. Everything from the bedding to the soap was chosen with care, even had some fresh flowers in the room. The property is incredibly beautiful and while we were there during the wettest, muddiest weather, we could tell that they took great care in providing a well-rounded experience for guests. Now the food. Jurie, the chef and his helper, painstakingly prepare each dish. We had oxtail, bobotie, spaghetti bolognese, and breakfast. Every dish was hot and delicious.

The kitchenette had everything I needed to cook my own meals, including a full-size refrigerator/freezer. The unit and property were spotless and immaculately maintained. Breakfast was a delicious hearty typical English breakfast. I was traveling on business and had good wi-fi reception in my unit for doing my work. Wylie Park, Woolworths, Pick N Pay, and several restaurants are all a 15 minute walk away. Most importantly, Adie and Di are fantastic and helpful hosts! This property is great for long stays and solo female travelers.
