Gosh where to start? Our stay was sublime. We stayed in one of the Bull Stables cottages and it was perfect. It's not a self-catering unit, so bear that in mind, however, there are facilities on the property where you can cook. Everything from the bedding to the soap was chosen with care, even had some fresh flowers in the room. The property is incredibly beautiful and while we were there during the wettest, muddiest weather, we could tell that they took great care in providing a well-rounded experience for guests. Now the food. Jurie, the chef and his helper, painstakingly prepare each dish. We had oxtail, bobotie, spaghetti bolognese, and breakfast. Every dish was hot and delicious.

This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!

The Bunker is set in Champagne Valley and offers barbecue facilities and a terrace. This holiday home has a garden and free private parking. The mountain views are spectacular! Beautiful setting, quiet, private and comfortable.

I stayed in Unit 4 Garden Cottage for 1 month (1 bedroom, kitchenette, living room, 1 bathroom). The kitchenette had everything I needed to cook my own meals, including a full-size refrigerator/freezer. The unit and property were spotless and immaculately maintained. Breakfast was a delicious hearty typical English breakfast. I was traveling on business and had good wi-fi reception in my unit for doing my work. Wylie Park, Woolworths, Pick N Pay, and several restaurants are all a 15 minute walk away. Most importantly, Adie and Di are fantastic and helpful hosts! This property is great for long stays and solo female travelers.
