Cambridge City Centre, Cambridge
In the Cambridge City Centre district of Cambridge, close to Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Citystay - Midsummer Mews has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The property is less than 1 km from the city centre and a 19-minute walk from University of Cambridge. Midsummer Mews is a lovely place. We stayed in apartment 10 for five nights and loved it. It's on the first floor and two large windows overlook the entrance / garden. The apartments are off the road and very quiet, yet close to a shopping mall for any necessities. We arrived later than advised because of rail strikes, but we were talked through the checking-in process by a PERSON on a phone. It is very reassuring to know you could speak to someone at that time of the night when everything is unfamiliar. Also, we found everything we needed to make breakfast for a few mornings - including fresh milk - and we really appreciated this. The apartment consists of a large open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen, decorated in a simple, pleasing style and colour. There is a toilet just off the kitchen and a large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, just off the large bedroom. Everything worked - all the appliances, the boilers, the dryer, the washing machine, the coffee machine.... everything. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed linen was nice and white. There was plenty of wardrobe space too. After five nights, or earlier, one usually starts to notice problems in a rented apartment; with this one we were happy till the end of our stay!

The room was lovely, modern and clean with a large comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. West Court is in a great location and only a short walk into Cambridge City centre. We used Madingley Road Park and Ride, which stops on Bridge Street and is a short 4 minute walk to West Court. A decent Buffet Breakfast with a reasonable selection.
Really quiet location which we like with nice views and wildlife all around. Excellent clean place to stay. Very happy.
we like that we were able to park off road. self check in was simple. the bed was very comfy. the location was good and bad. good as it was walking distance to town (about 3kms to the city centre) and good because there is a little supermarket 50 m away and a chinese shop that sells delicious dumplings.
The cleanliness of the apartment was great. It is a newly built apartment, with everything clean and maintained well. The bed was very comfortable and the size of the apartment was great. A lovely welcome pack of very good pasta, pasta sauce, sliced bread, butter and milk were all left in the apartment. A good welcome gesture. The location was also great, a very quiet street, with only a 20 minute walk to the beautiful city centre of Cambridge. Also, very near beautiful Midsummer Common, great for running and walking.
Really cute Victorian property. We were a group of three, and there was plenty of room for us. I think the property can sleep 6, and that might make it a little tight. Lovely touch of some crisps in a basket on arrival, and tea and coffee for use. Great shower facilities, great WiFi and tv if you need it. Fanatic location, a stones throw from the canal and a 5 min walk from city centre. We didn’t use any of the cooking families, but kitchen was well equipped.
Great location, beautifully restored with great taste in furnishings. Excellent friendly, helpful staff. Rachel has a real customer focused approach, as did all the staff. A very engaged owner, which is good to see. The food was really very good and we enjoyed two dinners in the brassiere. Quiet lounge area with views of the bridge and the sun setting. A great place to stay en route from south to north.
Location, close to parking for shuttle bus to downtown Cambridge was wonderful. And the host was exceptional! They had fruit and snacks available to us and the host helped us with the bus to downtown Cambridge.
The home is beautiful. Well maintained and spotless. The views are stunning! The perfect place to stay. Very close to Swynford manor where we were attending a wedding
The location was very central. The breakfast was nice and overall I felt the stay was good value for money. It is a good place to stay for a one night work related travel rather than a longer stay.
