Supermarkets/eateries in 3 to 15 minutes walk-able distance. Nearby locations - 5 KM from DLF IT Park, MIOT & SRMC hospitals. From Airport on route 1 is 6 KMs and route 2 is 12 KMs The area is lovely, more like staying in a village than a city, 20 odd mins from the airport. We found the locals there friendly and helpful too, Also very near by are shops & cafes, approximately a 2 min walk. The hosts Sam and Latha were fabulous! Helped make our stay a memorable one for sure, taking care of our every need when we needed, helping us with obtaining sim cards! (hard to get in Chennai for foreigners) also booking the train for our onward journey, arranging taxis for around chennai whenever we needed, food delivery, currency exchange, (very good rates) Our room was comfy and quiet, the Homestay is situated in a no through road. If you are flying in from another country and you do book a stay there, my advice is to let Sam & Latha to pre arrange a car pick up as there is no option for foreigners to purchase sim cards at the airport, So you'll have no internet use for using uber cabs etc) so you may (like us) be victims of a fleecing taxi cab guy that operate at the airport, We ended up paying 3 times the going rate. Just arrange things beforehand with Sam & Latha they'll sort things out...I can only give glowing Praise to these 2 people.😍

Place was clean and comfortable. We chose this place due to its good proximity to the airport. It took 30 mins by taxi, which, at time of writing this review was about 500 rupees. Exceeded expectations when they brought complimentary coffee one day, delicious pizza another and a cold bottle of water for the road when I left. Refrigerator in room and excellent working a/c are definitely appreciated. Good hygiene. Above all, I feel safe

This family-run estate spread across 20-acres offers accommodation in Masinagudi at the foothills of the Nilgiris. Jungle Hut features a swimming pool, restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. Main road safari and birding walk with highly knowledgeable and courteous guide Mr Rajesh was incomparable and was delightful. We had excellent sighting everyday. Food preparations and non-repeating veg and non-veg menu was tempting and added with excellent weather, resulted in overeating for all of us. Entire staff was highly cooperative and always smiling, in spite of language problem. We would love to visit the place again

We had breakfast and dinner served - food and service was great. Staff were accommodative of our requests. Two elderly family members (65 and 79 years) were very comfortable.
