We started our walk on the Southwest Coast Path here. We had traveled most of the day from London (thank you, rail strike) and ended up taking a taxi from Exeter). We ended the day with a pleasant pint over looking the water.

Everyone was friendly. The receptionist at the main facility was lovely and very accommodating. There was a warm swimming pool for the kids to enjoy. It was only a few minutes drive from the seaside, also walkable.

Comfortable beds. Childrens play area close by and big open field for children to play or just to relax in the sunshine. Clothes hanger for drying clothes/swimwear. It was so cute. I could park the car very near to it too. The swimming pool was good; there was even a small fitness room. The views from the property were superb. Dawlish is within walking distance and if the tide is out, the walk along the sea wall is very beautiful. The reception staff were excellent and I was given a number of tips when I checked out. The bar staff were also very attentive and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
