The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Loved the stay, Mody/ Mohammad was super helpful and nice to us. Probably the warmest welcome so far in Zanzibar and also super super proactive and helpful and just so good to us. So big thank you to Mohammad. Also super clean rooms , very clean common areas. Good view from the top floor resturant. And short walk to a quiet beach. Value for money. Very comfortable.

Everything was great! Resort looks/feels better than on photos. Staff is polite and friendly, excellent service. Ben was our favourite guy, his smile and gentle approach brings another star to Mombo Ocean. Food is really good! Located on the best part of the beach, so you can enjoy low tide big time.
