The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

One of the best accommodation we have ever had, and we have been to a lot of them. Area is very quiet, without a lot of tourists. Overall it is quite nice part of zanzibar, Pwani Mchangani is small village within 5 mins of walking from Tamu Tamu, with couple of shops and small restaurants. Beach is also nice, not crowded, without many local sellers ("hello my friend"). What is a plus of Tamu Tamu is it's beautiful settings with a lot of greenery, nice pools etc. Everything is neat, well cared of, very secluded and private. The main reason we LOVED our stay were the people working in Tamu Tamu - such a friendly guys still smiling, funny and kind to everyone... we felt like visiting a friends. We loved everything about our stay and cannot recommend this resort enough!

This is a fantastic beachfront. Not like all the others who say seafront and in reality it is not. Ask carefully before booking. We have found a wonderful location, a beautiful new villa, with all the comforts and a very kind staff at our disposal. Impossible to find fault. The breakfast prepared directly by the "Mami" of the house was perfect: plate of fresh fruit, chapatis (like local wraps) or brioches or pancakes with various syrups as a top.

The apartment is lovely with beautiful decor. We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom which was perfect for our young adult children. There was a kitchen area that we didn’t use but liked having the fridge for cold drinks. The pool was great and location to the beach was steps! It was a wonderful experience at Mambo Ocean Resort. We arrived early in the morning and to our pleasant surprise, our room was ready for us and we were checked in immediately. The complex is extremely peaceful and very well maintained. The tension of big hotels is missing, which predisposes to a full-fledged rest. We had breakfast and dinner and the food was very tasty. The staff is wonderful, ready to help at any time. They went out of their way to make us feel like we were in heaven Pascal, at the front desk, Paulina who is the best waitress we have ever served and everyone else. At the beach, trust the amazing Simba who will organize the best excursions for you at the lowest prices.

The room is spacious, clean, equipped with all the necessary comfort. Just a few steps away is one of the swimming pools in the middle of a yard full of vegetation.
