Amazing mountain view from the room's window (family suite). Had a lovely evening walk in the area. Food is delicious - everything fresh and tasty. Very good beer and their cheese soup is to die for! Breakfast was plentiful - we had more than normal portions because of how good everything was! I slept really well - it was very quiet in the room and pitch dark. Comfy beds. Would come back!

Set 300 metres from the Gais Train Station and 6 km from Appenzell, Hotel Krone Gais features a traditional Swiss restaurant. This place is charming! Decorated in a lovely way, the staff made us feel very welcomed and we had a great time there.

In the centre of Herisau and a 6-minute train ride from Sankt Gallen, the 3-star superior Hotel Herisau was completely renovated in 2016 and provides a sauna, a fitness centre and a restaurant serving... The hotel, room and staff was really nice. We had a great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was also very good. While the city is a bit dead, it brings you in range of some magnificent mountains. It was a perfect "pit-stop" for our trip through europe.

The Hotel Heiden is situated in the centre of the Biedermeier village of Heiden and offers a wonderful panorama view over Lake Constance, only 15 minutes from St. the pictures don’t do this hotel justice - amazing location, pristine rooms, excellent food - 10/10
