Beautiful and comfortable hotel, close to a bus station. I loved the furnishing, the room smelled like pine wood which was really relaxing. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was perfect (I really appreciated the plant based milk variation).

It was cozy and clean, with great attention to both detail and quality. We also appreciated the welcome gift (a book), the libraries and book-filled dining room - and, of course, the Giacometti downstairs and photographs throughout the pension. The restaurant was also excellent in terms of the dishes and personable service.

Set in a 300-year-old typical Engadine house, Hotel Chasa Sofia is located in the centre of Scuol and offers free WiFi. The location was great - pretty much in the centre of the town, with a 3-4 min walk to the old town and to the thermal baths. The owner was extremely professional and really took care of her guests and the rooms, there was great attention to detail. The room was exceptionally clean, there was really nothing to fault. The breakfast was also very good, all fresh produce and freshly cooked eggs on arrival in the breakfast room.

Amidst the beautiful mountain landscape of the Engadine, the Schlosshotel Chastè enjoys an exceptionally quiet location in the holiday village of Tarasp, 7 km from Scuol. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace in our junior suite which was spacious, warm, and inviting. Every little detail was thought of from hooks in the right places to enough hangars to coffee pods. The hotel is beautifully decorated, reflecting its long history. It's obvious that the family is very proud of their hotel and deservedly so.

Reasonably modern and well maintained, with a central location in Scuol - a narrow set of steps leads directly to the main road in a few seconds, and right there is the Bogn Engiadina, and a Volg for groceries. The windows in the main living area provide an incredible panorama of the distinctive peaks of the Lower Engadin. Otherwise, the location is quiet, and the apartment had everything needed for a great trip (especially raclette and fondue equipment!).

Well, very very friendly and helpful staff, owners. Very good restaurant. The accomodation was great. We stayed only 4 nights, the breakfast was good, the location was great and the people from the hotel were very nice, smiling all the time and helping with everything you needed. That is one thing I really appreciated. The location is 2 min away from the cabin lift area. The conditions they offered were great and exceeded our expectations.

This was a real treat. Located in a beautiful and quaint hilltop farm town, the facilities were beautiful and very modern. The vistas and town were a highlight. The dinner and breakfast were included and were absolutely first class. The staff was attentive personable and efficient. There is the hotel and the lodge which are two separate buildings. Spa, Gym and parking are available. Be prepared to do a little hilly walking because of the nature of the town. There are hiking trails nearby and you are away from the business of St Moritz. We will definitely return here. Want to specifically highlight the staff as fantastic. Chistine ( Chef de Rang) was absolutely great!

The breads/croissants did not appear to be replenished midway through the fast hours. Dining room amazing. Food great. Staff personable. Loved eating outside and the service was good out there. OMG, the STAFF is what makes Hotel Conrad stand out above all! Located in the original old town of Scuol Hotel Conrad is so quaint and centralized. There was the Church steeple, original 17th century buildings and the mountains with gondola from our balcony. Our Swiss decorated room (with Swiss cleanliness standards) had a small kitchen great for a light dinner, tea, and wine! The Conrad restaurant was open all day with a creative Chef. Breakfast (included) was amazing with as much wonderfully individualized prepared coffee.The ample buffet included freshly baked bread and sweets from their kitchen. Meats, local cheeses and yogurt, juices-this was by far our best breakfast throughout this 6 weeks in Europe.Hotel Conrad provided free regional bus and train passes. We could walk everyone, day hikes, or go to the 5* spa/mineral baths. The city bus was only a few cobblestone streets away and took it to smaller villages, plus the train to St. Moritz for a day with this pass. We travel at least 6 weeks annually since our first trip to Switzerland in 1972. Hotel Scuol is great for families, couples, and individuals. We met travelers from Switzerland, and France. The staff takes care of you as if you were special family guests. They speak to you kindly in your first language. They (Matilde!)remember your special decaf coffee orders and share their local knowledge. Have and will continue to sing their praises. They are few places in our lives that folks remember you and your needs.

The Baer & Post is an excellent place to stay. We were there for 3 nights. It is an ideal location, half-way between Davos and St, Moritz. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and immediately felt so at home. Our room was very spacious, exceedingly clean with great beds, pillows and duvets and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the dinner great. We can't say enough good things about the Baer & Post….stay here, you won't be disappointed.
