Well set in the Zhongyuan District district of Zhengzhou, Crowne Plaza Zhengzhou High Tech Zone, an IHG Hotel is located 13 km from Qinling Road, 13 km from Zhengzhou Aquarium and 14 km from Henan... the food is great. My baby loves the mushroom in third floor resturantant. The location is fine with many shopping centers, but it's too far from railway station.

The city is pleasant if you visit the right places.
The city is pleasant if you visit the right places... Interesting shots from the future in the new CBD area, lovely neighborhoods nearby the two major museums (Henan Museum and Zhengzhou Museum, you should not miss them if you are interested in ancient Chinese history; they display unique artifacts with informative captions in English, among the best I ever visited in China). A walk along the ancient city walls in the evening is also pleasant (in fact, the foundation of the walls); you will enjoy relaxed time with local inhabitants, lovely arrangement for an urban park. Daily escape towards Shaolin Monastery is also recommended, reachable with public bus (be prepared with some basic Chinese to buy tickets and avoid organised tours!). The "city centre" is undergoing major works, there wil be a pedestrian commercial street that at the moment is not very enjoyable. Free entrance at the Er Qi pagoda with you passport, local history with a glimpse on urban transformation.
