Besidka is a design hotel located in a cultural monument from the 16th century. The hotel has a restaurant and ceramic workshop, and each room has its own unique and contemporary design. We were the only people staying at the hotel but, Harry, the proprietor, was great. We were bikepacking and he found a safe location to store our bikes. The room was spacious and had a fun vibe. The food at the restaurant was awesome! Some of the best we ate on our whole trip.

Offering a garden and garden view, Matějovec38 is situated in Český Rudolec, 26 km from Historic Centre of Telč and 26 km from Chateau Telč. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. Fantastically renovated, great location and very tasteful furniture / equipment. The dinner in the restaurant was great (as was breakfast) and the garden was very cool to hang out in the summer. We plan to return for a longer stay. I really appreciate the ambition for excellence and standing out from the competition.
