The owners of the property are very polite, kind and helpful. There is also sauna in the hotel (included in the price), and massage (need to be booked separately). Nearby area is full of wonderful hiking paths with wonderful picturesque views and huts where you can stay and enjoy the nature.

Featuring ski-to-door access and views of mountain, Winklmoos Sonnenalm is a hotel is situated in Reit im Winkl, 200 metres from Gondelbahn Seegatterl. The hospitality/service provided by the hotel members was great! And the location was also just perfect for my interests in hiking and stargazing. What made my stay more special was also the fact that they paid really great attention to tiny details when it comes to adding tiny decorations and accessories all over the hotel. Also their hotel has a "sun" theme and they have incorporated this theme in their room keys as well as the rooms themselves. The place has a charming rustic vibe to it too, which only added to my experience! Definitely going back several times.
