Offering a picturesque setting, Hostal Auñamendi is located in the charming village of Ochagavia. Everything, the location, very ample and comfortable room, extremely helpful staff, food served at the bar/restaurant was fantastic, very highly recommended.

This family-run country house is located in Navarra, 45 minutes’ drive from Pamplona and San Sebastián. It offers rooms with views of the charming garden, which features a river. Everything! We loved the setting, the location and the atmosphere of the hostal. The hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was first class and served every morning. We tried home made marmalade and home made cookies. This was the best breakfast ever that I had experienced. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was in the room. The beds were changed every day and were comfortable and super clean. The kitchen was offered to be used any time and was fully equipped with glassware, plates and other necessities. The owner also offered free food and wine and beer for a small amount of money. Location was remote but we got around and it was convenient to all the places we wanted to see. We met families with kids that come every year for a visit. There are so many things to do for kids, we were surprised to know about the parks and the nature reserve designed for children. We would definitely comeback!

Hotel Rural Irigoienea is in Urdax, 5 minutes’ drive from the French border. It is a converted 18th-century country house with free Wi-Fi and a porch overlooking a large garden. The location, the owners and staff, the breakfast, the hotel itself was all amazing. We definitely recommend coming and we'll come back soon.

Hotel Rural Torre de Úriz is near the Irati Forest in Navarre and features an authentic medieval tower. Guests can relax outside in the gardens or in the living room with a fireplace. This is a stunningly renovated tower that feels remote, peaceful and instantly relaxing. Jon and Iban, our hosts, were incredibly attentive, and provided truly excellent customer service - they made us feel like old friends. The food served for breakfast and dinner was of a very high standard, and we loved the locally sourced products and beverages served in the restaurant. Jon and Iban shared their pride in the local area, and we felt sad to leave.
