Serene and stunning location! The view while laying in bed was amazing and seeing the stars and the northern lights through the glass ceiling was incredible. Very clean and comfortable and great breakfast.

Really affordable room, that delivered beyond expectations. Breakfast was included which was really good. Lastly, great Sauna! 👍

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully situated by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. Fairytale hotel, wonderful to be holed up there in the winter with the snow falling all around. Food was great (amazing breakfast, gorgeous dinners), nice sauna, handy for skiing and other activities (ski bus takes you direct to the slopes in about 15 mins and is pretty regular.) Rooms spacious, well designed and clean, comfy beds and decent shower. It’s the staff though that really made the difference. A happy family of people who went out of their way to look after me, a warm welcome at reception and bending over backwards to look after me at dinner…as a solo traveller it means the world.

This hotel is located in the centre of the village of Ylläsjärvi, 100 metres from Lake Ylläsjärvi. Hotel is spacious with great breakfast and nice and warm sauna. Many common areas to spend time with your friends.

The Lapland Hotel Ylläskaltio provides functional accommodation with ski routes and sledding tracks starting right outside the door. A ski shuttle is available from the front of the hotel. Well situated; near the lake, which is an excellent spot for Northern lights (w/o street lighning) and very close to good Snowfunsafari where we booked all our excursions, next door to a gourmet restaurant Poro. The breakfast of the hotel if excellent, large variety of dishes. We enjoyed local and continental breakfast (our doughters loved the self made gauffres :-) We did not test the dinner. We also loved there were available slides and local "potkuri" to have a ride on the snow.

Korpikelo provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 36 km of Kolari Train Station. Beautiful wooden cabin, fully equipped kitchen, sauna, fireplace, free parking slot and very good location, clos to the skiing resort.

Situated within 37 km of Kolari Train Station in Äkäslompolo, B&B Adventures features accommodation with seating area. The decoration in the upstairs common room was very inviting and created a cozy vibe. The young woman welcoming us and cooking our breakfast was very friendly and it was nice chatting to her and the other guests in the kitchen. The B&B was a short walk away from several restaurants in the very small town.

Located 100 metres from Ylläs1 Gondoli Ski Lift and 500 metres from Länsiraja Ski Lift, Ylläshuiput features accommodation situated in Ylläsjärvi. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Sauna was lovely after a long day on the hill. There is a locker downstairs for all ski/snow equipment, as well as a room for waxing and fixing snowboards which was great! being able to do laundry and use the drying cabinet was also very useful. bed were comfortable and we got plenty of good sleep.

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. Excellent Property, Rooms, very helpful staff and lovely breakfast! :)
