Hôtel Château de la Marlière in Fourmies features 2 accommodation located in two different buildings. It features a tennis court, a garden and a terrace. My experience at this hotel was incredible. I booked my stay the day of, and they welcomed me with open arms and assisted me with all my needs. I arrived after a bike race where I had crashed, and they assisted me in getting to the hospital, finding food, and getting to my room. Beyond their wonderful assistance, their accommodations and facilities were absolutely beautiful. The Château's dining room is gorgeous and features a lovely breakfast (at additional cost) in the mornings, and the overall grounds of the hotel are very clean and calm as well. Although I was a solo traveler from the United States with an injury from the bike race, I the support from the staff at the Chateau allowed me to relax and feel at home during my stay here. So grateful for all of their support and assistance, and 100% would come again.

From £90 per nightEverything was very nice: the Apartment is very located in Vic-sur-Aisne, a tiny nice place near Compiegne. Despite its size the village has a bakery, bars, a pharmacy, a very good restaurant and some more shops. Paris is not far, by car ca. one hour, whereby I recommedn to take the train from one of the many nearby train station. The apartment is well equipped, we did not miss anything. Parking at the street, for us it was not issue.

3 extraordinary days passed at this chateau ! The team was wonderful, excellent food, magnificent wines and champagne ! We particularly loved the local champagne which was not expensive at all. We were a group along with a baby and they prepared everything for the little one (bed, high chair, food). Charming place overall with great sights, tranquility, green space everywhere and spectacular ruins of the old chateau.

The location is beautiful right on a gorgeous lake absolutely full to the brim with wildlife such as swans, ducks, heron, beavers, and more. The water park is awesome with fun slides for different ages, wave machine, lazy river, rapid river, and a play area with slides and another for very little children. The kids loved it in there. They also loved the indoor golf, the Jeep safari and the Pony rides. There were a few outdoor play structures and the beach is also very nice. The food at the restaurants was good but we ate at the lodge more often for convenience and frankly greater choice from home cooking.

Where do I begin? From the moment we arrived to the aperitives in a selection of beautiful rooms, being swept up from there to enjoy world class dinners in the dining room, stroll in beautiful romantic gardens, farewell bakes we received from the kitchen and well wishes, the service was attentive, polite, just exceptional! The attention to detail in recommendations and planning our stay is also much much more, at a standard well beyond the ordinary. We were blown away by all the wonderful people at the chateau, we become quite fond of them. It really has a special place in our memory now, especially celebrating our wedding anniversary. The 17th century property is exquisite, absolutely beautiful, glamorous, original, it was a dream to spend 4 nights at the Chateau on a large beautiful property, transported to another place.

A great idea, a real escape from city busy life in the middle of nowhere, but with the castle ruins not far from the place (1.3 km). We liked the design of the house, it is quite original. The houses are in a spacious park, so you are very close to nature. The kitchen is well equipped. When you look at the house from outside, you will never guess how well it is designed inside. The lady at the reception is very friendly.

The place is absolutely stunning, perfect and very friendly welcome from reception staff, our suite amazing, i will never forget my husband's surprise and joy on discovering the suite and the stunning shower room, not to mention the private terrace with sofa and jacuzzi. Service was perfect and very friendly, breakfast very good in a gorgeous room. We have been treated like VIP's We have also treated us with a dinner in the restaurant, which turned out to be another very good moment, excellent food and very professional staff with delightfull sense of humour.
