Featuring an internal courtyard with an outdoor pool and deckchairs, Gounod is a hotel set in the heart of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, 18 km from Avignon. This was really a perfect stay. I arrive a bit early and my room was ready. The staff was kind enough to let me try speaking French, but then they replied to me in perfect English. The room was absolutely lovely with its musical theme. Extremely comfortable bed. I liked how the sink, shower, and toilet were all separate. There were even wash cloths for us Americans that use them. The lobby was adorable and decorated for Christmas. I was seated in front of the fire place for my breakfast. The hotel had umbrellas for walking around in the rain, they had a map of the town, and made lunch and dinner recommendations. I didn't reserve a room by the garden, but I walked through it. It was a damp December day, but I can picture how beautiful it would be on a warm sunny day. Also in the garden, was the largest fluffiest cat I have ever seen.

Very friendly people running the hotel. Beautiful breakfast buffet, small but lovely pool area. You would not expect from the streetside to find such a charming little garden. The hotel is easily reachable. The town of St Etienne du Gres is not special, but it is a close drive from sights such as Saint Remy or Les Baux.

Domaine la Pierre Blanche was a wonderfully private resort tucked in the Luberon valley. The staff were well-trained, informative, personable and respectful of privacy. The grounds and gardens were meticulously maintained and manicured, gorgeous views everywhere. The Sunday brunch was fabulous, all cuisine was remarkable and the jazz bands was great!

Bdesign & Spa is a luxury hotel located just outside Les-Baux-de-Provence, classified as one of France’s most beautiful villages. Great ambiance, very modern and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly.

Domaine De Manville, located 1.6 km from the heart of Les Beaux-de-Provence, is a luxury hotel and spa set within an 100 hectare golf course. Guests have access to the outdoor pool and the golf club. Domaine de Manville is wonderful in all senses. It is beautiful and in a wonderful location in the picturesque Alpilles. It has a great golf course, lovely spa and convivial bar and restaurants.

Situated 1 km from Saint-Remy-de-Provence and set in a 18th century building, Hôtel Mas Valentine offers a salt water swimming pool and a large park. You can relax on the terrace. The breakfast set-up and terrace was the perfect way to start your day. The pool was very relaxing - always plenty of sun beds available. Great location to St Remy however highly recommend hiring a car as it was an easy 5 minute drive into town. We stayed in a villa and loved it but there were a lot of mosquitos around. It would have been great to have some repellent/candles available.

Le Mas D'aigret is located a 5-minute walk from the old town of Les Baux de Provence, in the heart of the Alpilles. It offers a garden with an outdoor pool and a furnished terrace. My stay at Le Mas D'aigret was an absolute dream. I was given a free upgrade and the view from my room could not have been more beautiful. Camille and the whole staff were all so lovely and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect, an easy walk into Les Beaux but also remove enough to feel removed. The pool was perfect to relax after exploring and the food at the hotel was also wonderful. Also fabulous hiking around the hotel area... Truly a magical stay!

Located in the Alpilles Natural Regional Park, at the foot of Les Baux de Provence, this hotel features an outdoor pool set in a centenary olive garden. Nicely located in a typical provencal landscape. Room very spacious and very well appointed. The staff was helpful and pleasant. There is a spa available that I tried and was quite relaxing. Breakfast was very good, and despite uncertain weather, I could enjoy it outside on a nice terrace with views. I had one dinner there that was truly exceptional (menu for 88 euros). There are also plenty of good restaurants in the small village, 7 minutes walk away.
