Hôtel L'Argonn' Auberge is located beside Argonne Forest, 7 km from the village of Varennes-en-Argonne. Guests can relax in the hot tub and in the sauna. The rooms feature a flat-screen TV. Very easy to find in the centre of a small village. There is plenty of free car parking available. The rooms are very large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and very quiet. The staff are lovely and speak reasonable English. The food in the restaurant is excellent and very good value for money. It is a good base to explore the Ardennes and is very, very popular with hunters.

Beautiful hotel on a great location at the river Meuse(Maas) The hotel is very nicely created in Chateau de Wallerand with high quality materials and interior design. We used the diner in the hotel, quality and taste of the meal was perfect, good chef! Staff was helpful and friendly. Next morning we used the Spa facilities, over here we found the same quality of design and cleanliness as in the rest of the hotel. Overall a great place to stay and to return in the future!

HOTEL L'AMERIVIERE*** has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Aubrives. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. The hotel was also the local pub, bakery and cafe (although they were closed when we arrived) The owner was welcoming and allowed us to use his garage for our motorbike. The breakfast was continental style and plentiful. The hotel was a short distance from the river with some lovely walks.

It has a very good restaurant on the other side of the street which looks over the river. Plenty of free parking available very close by. I came by motorbike and which I put in their secure garage, a very good thing.

Gregory’s property was perfect for our 5 night stay in Givet. The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything one needs for a self catered stay. The rooms were spacious and everything were of excellent quality. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring the Ardennes in France and Belgium. Two large supermarkets were within walking distance making it more convenient.

The location is within walking distance to the centre of Sedan and its marvellous castle. Easy parking and lovely views of the river. A great and very helpful host. We found Sedan to be a great base for exploring the Ardennes region.

Location was perfect on ~20 minutes of the main turistic attraction and the most visited Ardennes trails. During the night the village is very calm which makes it perfect for rest. Room and breakfast: very good value for money. They had a safe place to park our bikes. Our room (under the roof) and bathroom were quite big and very clean (though the carpet ground would need to be refreshed). Helpful staff. We reached the beautiful town center in 10 minutes. Positively surprised given that the hotel only has two stars.
