This medieval castle is set in the Provencal village of Trigance. Guests can enjoy a drink or a simple meal of regional produce in the onsite wine bar, which is situated in one of the oldest weapon... We stayed two nights in the Verdon region and found this hotel coincidentally. The whole look and feel of the small castle was very nice &special, the service exceptionally friendly and the food just incredible!

Hôtel Restaurant Le Lachens is located in La Bastide in the Var department, 3 km from La Roque-Escaplon and 8 km from Bargème. It offers free Wi-Fi access, a large garden and a terrace. Le Lachens indeed turned out to be a real gem in the middle of almost nowhere:) An extremely friendly, cosy and welcoming family-run hotel with clean and comfy rooms, big ensuit bathrooms, good buffet breakfast with a very decent selection. A surprise dinner is worth a separate mentioning! We ordered 7 dishes to share between 2, not knowing what it would be before it was served (however, we could warn beforehand about the food we don't eat) - a complete choice of the chef. All our doubts disappeared once we were served absolutely lovely and delicious sets of entrees, main dish, cheese plate and desert - apparently all the cheeses were produced by the local farmers. We never regretted ordering this surprise dinner, and guessing the ingredients of the dishes was an additional fun! Highly recommended!

Logis Grand Hotel Bain is a family-run hotel since 1737 and is located in Comps-sur-Artuby, near the Gorges of Verdon. It offers en suite rooms with free WiFi and a TV. Great hospitality, very comfy beds, good location.

Le Vieil Amandier is located in the small village of Trigance, in the heart of the Verdon Nature Reserve. Its facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and free on-site parking. The hotel is beautiful, with a wonderful swimming pool and terrace. The rooms are clean, comfy and fresh. The breakfast was also delicious. But the highlight of our stay was our host, who was lovely and so helpful. She gave us great advices on what to do in the area, was always available and helped us with all our needs. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Nice host, centuries old hotel/restaurant building, a cafe/restaurant below, friendly dog Sam, good pizza with hand knead dough

Situated in Trigance, in a historic building, 26 km from Château de Taulane Golf Course, Le Priolat des Anges aux portes des gorges du Verdon is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden... Artistic touches and good design make this a charming place to stay. The family kitchen adjoins the guest salon, so you can hear the happy sounds of cooking and feel like part of the action, even while enjoying privacy. Outside, there are eclectic statuettes and art pieces and fountain tank to discover in the gardens. The dinner and breakfast featured several homemade products including wonderful fruit preserves, marinated wild mushrooms, and daube of beef.

Located in Châteauvieux in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Gite les Cigales has a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Very peaceful location, fantastic view from the courtyard of the room where you can sit and read a book and enjoy nature around. Good food for dinner, room is big and comfortable. Owners are super welcoming and great people. I enjoyed my stay so much and would definetely go back again.
