The Mercure Troyes Center occupies a former factory located 500 meters from the historic center of the city. The hotel has just been completely renovated and offers a chic and cozy decor. The staff at the hotel was absolutely lovely from the receptionists, cleaners and bar staffs. All were very polite and helpful. The room was really clean and very comfortable for the four of us and our cat. The breakfast was as well a hit with our little ones with plenty of tasty options available. We’d definitely recommend.

Hotel in the small village of Clairvaux close to the Abbey of Clairvaux founded by St. Bernard. It is 5 to 10 minutes walk to the abbey and about 2 km to St. Bernard fountain in the woods. There is a bus stop where I came from the train station of Bar-sur-Aube and departed to Chaumont. The hotel has its own restaurant where I had dinner with very good food and nice staff. The room was good and quiet. Wifi good.

There is a very good restaurant on site. As renovations were taking place our room was upgraded to a lovely studio at no extra charge. On this trip we did not have time to explore the town but intend to return

Our stay was a true 'champagne' experience in so many respects. This is a gem of a hotel, centrally-located in Bar-sur-Aube. A complimentary glass of their own champagne on arrival and an included bottle in the room were nice surprises, as was the cost of a night's stay.

We made a mistake with the booking and arrived a day early. The Hotel was full so we couldn´t stay there. The man on reception was very helpful and recommended the Kyriad Hotel which was nearby and which was where we managed to stay for the night. The hotel responses to my mail were very helpful and despite being outside the free cancellation window we were not charged for the night. However, all my attempts to contact Booking Com that Friday evening in order to make sure that room could be shown as available for the Saturday were to no avail. Several attempts at ringing were no use and there was no possibility to contact them via email either then or afterwards. Very disappointing with Booking Com to say the least.

Location is next to the entrance of Nigloland. Nice entrance with a pirate moving on a ropa accross the hall and a pirate-ship-bar. Nice experience for kids. Room was spaceous and nice bathroom. Beds are very comfortable.
