I booked here for my partner's birthday and we loved it. Exceptional service and we were looked after well. We stayed in the 'Shakespeare' room with a Jacuzzi and it was very romantic & private. My dog was also looked after. The dinner was very yummy and theatrical. This place delivered what I expect from a 5 star hotel.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Our flight was cancelled so we chose to stay here rather than going into Bordeaux city centre for the night. We were so pleased we did! Lovely, quiet and beautifully appointed. Good sized rooms and a delicious dinner. We stayed on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed but they offered us a grazing menu of cheeses, smoked trout and delicious small plates. Perfect.

Situated in Bazas and with Graves et du Sauternais Golf Course reachable within 18 km, Le Rodin Bazas features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout... We stayed in order to visit the Fete des Boeuf Gras Bazas. For us, communications were top class, with a caring and warm welcome, which was totally evident throughout our stay. Our room, 11, could not have been more perfect for our needs. The location of the hotel was perfect, in order to easily walk to centre ville, and what a treat centre ville is, the most magnificent Cathedrale, and surrounding historic buildings. At the Rodin, there is a comfortable shared lounge, and quaint terrace at the entrance. The Hotel is newly refurbished to a high standard, Fenella and staff could not have been more helpful, she booked a table at the fabulous Indigo for us. For travellers, there is a laundrette right next to the Hotel. Easy parking is normally opposite the Hotel, Make time to visit La Cave, on the short walk to the Cathedrale. We have pleasure in recommending 100% the Rodin and its Owner.

Pierre from the restaurant team was also a pleasure to meet, and makes a fantastic Irish Coffee :) Thank you to you both for making our experience exceptional!

Quiet location but just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and helped us feel comfortable with our basic French. Most staff speak good English - but some use of French is going to go a long way. Breakfasts are excellent, for an extra charge. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel. We warmly recommend the Villa du Moulleau!

the best thing about the hotel is it’s location - 6 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes to the beach. Also I’ve reserved the room for 2 people and in the comment section I wrote the name of the 2nd person who was traveling with me. The hotel staff was not sure whether I asked for a 3rd person or I just wanted to give the name of the 2nd person, so just in case they have offered us a room with a separate living room which had a click-clack sofa in it. Even when they confirmed with me that we are only 2 persons, they still let us stay in this bigger room.

We didn’t use the spa but it looked beautiful We can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

The wooden chalets were spaced apart enough to give you the feel of being in the forest. The chalet was perfectly adequate for two people. There was sleeping accommodation for four people but it would have felt overcrowded with four people.
