B&B Hôtel Auray-Carnac is located between Vannes and Lorient, in the pleasant town of Auray in South Brittany. B&B Hôtel Auray-Carnac offers comfortable accommodation. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a cooler bag of food from the house where we were staying, and they stored it in their fridge for us and put our freezer packs in the freezer, which was greatly appreciated! They also gave us several recommendations for restaurants. We had a room for 3, with 2 single beds and a double. I find beds in France to be much firmer than the US, so in case travelers prefer a softer bed, be aware of this. This was about 15-20 minutes from Carnac, so convenient for the visit.

This is a well maintained, well presented and friendly hotel. We booked a two-room junior suite for four nights. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with a good size balcony. There was plenty of parking space and pleasant grounds to sit out in, as well as a pool, spa, bar and tennis courts. Breakfasts were good, too. The hotel's well situated for seeing all the sights of this part of the Gulf of Morbihan but you do need to use the car as it's out in the countryside.

Our family room had windows opening onto the sea and to go to sleep and wake with the sound of the boats and waves was very relaxing. The island is amazing and we can't wait to come back. We'd definitely stay at the hotel again - friendly staff, great food, clean and comfortable rooms and unbeatable location - couldn't ask for more.
