After 16 years living in France this was the first time I felt respected and truly welcomed as a customer. This hotel gets my sincere admiration.

Located in Vars les Claux, 150 metres from the Peynier Ski Lift, Les Carlines offers lodge style accommodation. This lodge features a restaurant, a bar and a wellness centre with a sauna an a hot tub.... Close to the ski lift. Infrared(!) sauna available with bubble bath, bookable for 45 minutes. Window had a curtain. The staff is nice, but speaks only french.

Hôtel Le Lievre Blanc is located in the typical village of Vars just a 3-minute walk from Sainte-Marie Ski Lift and a 5-minute walk from Peinier Ski Lift. It’s a small Hotel in this village. Unfortunately a litte hidden, but remarkably lovely in so many details. The staff was very friendly and made me felt welcome. The room was simple, but really really lovely and comfortable and perfectly clean. The breakfast very good and diverse. As I said, lovely in so many details.

This hotel is set in the Hautes-Alpes in the village of Risoul, and features a sauna and an outdoor pool. The garden terrace offers panoramic views of the valleys and mountains. The staff is so good and help me a lot with knowing how to get around and find the bus, and even let me do late check-out so I can ski another half day. There is a shuttle bus every morning for skiing.

Situated in Vars-Sainte-Marie in the French Alps, this family-run hotel, located on the Grandes Alpes Route, is just 150 metres from the ski lifts and slopes. A home away from home that is how i felt in that hotel. The staff is super kind and helpful, the structure warm and welcoming and the food in the restaurant just excellent. They even have a free garage for bike and motorbike. That hotel is the best one in all the route des Grand Alpe

Au Bon Logis is situated in the alpine village of Risoul at Gaudissart Haut, at the entrance of the Regional Park Du Queyras and the National Park Des Ecrins. Our room overlooked the most breathtaking mountains and valley view. The dinners were exquisitely delicious and plentiful. Breakfasts were full of variety. The hotel decor is tasteful and offers a reading lounge, veranda that overlooks the valley and a swimming pool. It was a very quiet and most peaceful 3 day stay. One cannot tire from its splendour. The most amicable and professional proprietors certainly made our stay memorable. Highly recommend the hotel for a restful stay.
