Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. Not only the room were spacious it was very clean. Also, the food was extremely delicious and was cook by a young chef wit great kknowledge of cooking. The young lady serving our table, was extremely kind and helpful in translating the menu for us since they only had it French. We recommend to have the menu in Ingles and in Spanish. If you like a clean roomy room and a place to eat, this is the Hotel for you with underground garage. We din't try their breakfast.

I was so blown away by the amazing hospitality I was shown here. The owner herself greeted me and gave me the low down on the local sites then walked me to my lovely, extremely comfortable room.

Zero stairs from the entrance to the room: 1,2,7&8 share that feature. The staff managed to transform a hotel that usually had a beach feel to a cozy holiday chalet virtually overnight. Breakfast (13€) featured excellent gâteau basque cerise and brebis cheese. Solid dinner choices were but a short walk away.

Helpful and courteous staff. Free upgrade/ choice between 2 different rooms. Double doors each double glaced opening up to a small balcony with perfect noise insulation. Fabulous breakfast. Amazing situation in the middle of wonderful Biarritz. Very long and interesting walk along the ocean with foot bridges onto cliffs surrounded by the sea. Easy access to underground, public parking right next to the hotel.

The location was fantastic right in front of the sea in front of the main promenade. Our room was amazing with a huge balcony an sun loungers overlooking the pool with an amazing view of Hondarriba in the distance. The beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We did not eat in the hotel as we decided to get a water taxi for €2.30 each across to Hondarriba which was buzzing with atmosphere and plenty of gastronomical delights to choose from. We really enjoyed the Thalassotherapy pool which was included in our room price. This was amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t have as long as we wanted here as the hotel receptionist on the morning of departure could strangely only organise our taxi for a certain early time although we requested it after check our time so we could fully avail of the Thalassotherapy pool. We thought that she could have been a bit more helpful as the staff on the previous day were extremely nice and understanding and helpful. The hotel breakfast buffet breakfast was quite pricey for us, even the cheaper option of the coffee/croissant was €8 but there are plenty of cafes nearby to choose from. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

There are some very nice details of the apartment, but some parts still need renovation. It was better than I expected based on the reviews. Comfortable, well-equipped. Very nice helpful staff, great pool. Comfortable big bed, I was very happy with the many pillows.
