Also we really enjoyed a tasty cheese fondue dinner in the restaurant. And we were allowed to check out early so we could leave early as needed. Recommend!

There are many things to see and do in Briancon; it is an old historical French city and has a life completely outside the usual purpose built French ski resorts! We travelled by car and were able to ski in Serre Chevalier, Puy St. Vincent and Montgenevre in France and Sansicario, Sestriere and Sauze d'Oulx in Italy - a great and varied week!

Excellent location near the Serre Chevalier ski resort. Availability of on-site ski and equipment rentals was nice. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and spa area each day after skiing. The hotel restaurant and bar were also convenient.
