We can’t recommend the Mortimer Trail B&B enough, it was delightful. Perfect location for exploring the Herefordshire area and the Welsh borders. Breakfast was very good and a bonus to be able to eat sitting in the window with a view over the garden and extensive countryside. The three rooms were spacious and well furnished like a private apartment. We slept well in the huge comfortable bed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and it is extremely likely we will stay there again. Thank you
Ross on Wye
The staff were very friendly both on reception and in the bar/restaurant. The room was a good size as was the ensuite bathroom, both immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is situated close to the town centre and the River Wye. There is a bus stop just around the corner where you can travel to Gloucester and Hereford from. (at this moment the buses are free at weekends within Herefordshire). All in all we had a cracking three nights and will definitely be returning.
Super hotel and an excellent restaurant. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spotless. Smart decor and all the facilities you could wish for. Great selection of drinks at the bar and cheerfully served. The evening meal ( Herefordshire beef steak) was really good and outstanding value for money. Breakfast was the same especially the huge bowl of fresh berries. This hotel is an absolute gem. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Room was awesome. View was superb. Facilities in room were great. Staff at the pub were very freindly and engaging and great service. Food was above my expectations
The lady directed us to her and waited outside for us to arrive . We were given our key and told all the information which was very helpful . Our room was very large with a choice of beds . Very comfortable sleep . Hot water for the bath was plentiful. Car park to the rear of the house more than ample. We will not hesitate to book and stay there again , we enjoyed it . Breakfast was not a cooked breakfast due to Covid but a packed breakfast placed outside our door . It was alot that we took some with us to stop and eat on the way home.
The hotel , staff & location.
Fantastic location, quirky and very different old building, very interesting property, quiet even though in town. Friendly helpful staff.
Great breakfast, staff and the general standard of everything was high.
