The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The dining experiences, both evening meals and breakfast were again excellent. The cherry on the cake were the staff who were super efficient, hard working and friendly and made our stay. We’ll done.

What a fantastic hotel by a lake in mid wales. Beautiful views across the water. Ample parking on site. Our bedroom was comfy and nicely decorated with a modern bathroom. Great views across the lake and mountains. Outside space but did not use due to weather. Very comfy bed. The hotel has a great atmosphere and is very comfortable and friendly. All the staff we encounted were great. The food in the restaurant was excellent and all the other guests we met were so very friendly. Breakfast was just as good with plent of choice. We will return.

The building has been freshly renovated to a very high standard, with the downstairs having a lovely farmhouse feel, whilst the upstairs is more in keeping with a boutique hotel, with super comfy beds and a fantastic view. The location is also superb, right on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog with easy access to mid wales/the coast as well. Look forward to returning in the future.

We had a great room with a fantastic view in the middle of the town. There are a few free parking spaces at the rear of the hotel and as we were there to walk the Offa's Dyke trail I didn't need to move the car at all during our stay. The local train station and buses are just around the corner and we used both. This is a great base to spend time in Mid Wales.

Wonderful 3 night break at the Dragon Hotel over New Year, The staff were so welcoming and friendly and our room was spacious and comfortable. We ate in the hotel 2 nights including the new years eve dinner which was exceptional. Great breakfast offered in a relaxed atmosphere.
