What a lovely place to stay! in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this little pub is great. Central location, Hawes is a really pretty village. We were made to feel very welcome. Our dinner in the pub was superb - we absolutely recommend eating there. And a delicious breakfast as well (included in the booking)! The room was small - noticible for us as we have large suitcases, and you need to go up a narrow staircase - but it was managable. The bathroom was very good. Very comfortable bed and bedding. And good wifi.

Overlooking Richmond's cobbled market square, and the Norman castle, this charming Georgian hotel full of character and warmth is only 6.4 km from the A1. Free WiFi is available on-site. The locationn was absolutly perfect ,in the main square in Richmond. We stayed two nights and were able to explore Richmond at our leisure . The room was fabulous, with a very spaceous ensuite with bath tub and shower. We could not ask for better. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious

The couches were very comfy and welcoming after a long day exploring. The kitchen was well equipped. There were complimentary cleaning and tea/coffee facilities which were a great addition. The parking at the back was narrow, but a bonus as the roads were quite narrow and busy.
