Boasting a privileged location, 300 metres from the gate of Monemvasia’s castle, Malvasia Traditional Hotel offers stone-built units most with views over the sea. Probably the best and more beautiful location in Monemvasia. We got the cheapest room in the hotel, but it was cozy, clean and the bed was comfortable. The weather wasn´t the best but the access to a small balcony was really nice. Good breakfast too.

We had a fabulous stay at Sempre Viva! The room was spotlessly clean, everything was brand new, and there was a great attention to detail to ensure that our experience was smooth and enjoyable. The breakfast served in our room every day was amazing, including local specialities and fresh fruit. There was even a welcome gift with local products waiting for us upon our arrival. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and they offered great tips to help us exprore the area. The pool was amazing, larger than usual and with plenty of free sunbeds and umbrellas, the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed day away from the crowds or for a swim in the sunset after a day at the beach. We highly recommend the property and we will definitely be coming back!

Very nice and extensive breakfast. Hotel and rooms are new with comfortable airconditioning. The places deserves nothing than a 10.

The rooms, with lovely balconies, overlook the sea, and the breakfast room is light and airy with the same open sea view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a variety of fresh baked cakes as well as yoghurt, fruit, cheese pastries, eggs etc. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. We loved Simos beach, which had the most amazing crystal clear water and soft sand; and the harbour town to promenade in the evening where you can pick a taverna for dinner on the seafront.

Lying on a private beach, a 30-minute drive away from the village of Monemvasia, Alas Resort & Spa offers 5-star accommodation with views over the Laconic Gulf. We had a very enjoyable stay and we were treated by the most helpful and warm staff! We were provided with the highest quality of amenities and services! We recommend it and we look forward to visiting the Alas Resort and Spa again in the future!
