We have loved every moment in the hotel Gringo Perdido. Staff was super accommodating. We have arrived.witha late plane to Flores and one staff member (Chepe, who has done everything to make us enjoy our staying) was there to allow us to have dinner, even if the kitchen was already closed. Breakfast was very good and energetic enough for some great walking among the Mayan temples. Estuardo, the owner, welcomed us the morming following our arrival and was great to talk to him. We have enjoyed the peace, the nature, the sense of calmness and balance that El Gringo Perdido spread. I recommend an early wake up to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. We'll be back for sure.

Beautiful nature and I could walk across the road for a swim. As a solo traveller, I met other travellers there and shared experiences going to places. They accommodated my food allergies.

Offering a sun terrace with swimming pool, views of the Exequil Lagoon, a heliport and wooden décor, this boutique hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Mundo Maya International Airport. The hotel nestled among trees over looking the lagoon. Our room was at the end and was so beautifully built. Everything including the floor was in wood and looks like a mahogany. Inside is a spacious room with double bed, an area to work if you want to, who does? But it haa an indoor jacuzzi overlooking a gorgeous view of the lagoon. All open with glass windows and doors. An absolute gem.

This elegant hotel is located within a tropical estate, on the edge of the Petenchel and Monifata Lagoons. Everything! We had a wonderful stay with zero complaints. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious with great water temperature and pressure. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Aurora was the staff member who was excellent, she helped with everything we needed and she couldn’t do more. We rented bikes while we stayed and she helped with all our further transport and trips after Flores

We chose this hotel as we wanted to be close to the bus station for an early departure. It was much nicer than we thought it would be. We could walk to the island of Flores and everything else was close by. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked impressive. Breakfast was also ok.

The hotel is really pretty. The colors, the pool area and the view to the lake are perfect. We couldn't have breakfast because we had a really early tour but the staff packed us a lunch box. The pool and the jacuzzi are amazing! Also the plants around the hotel are beautiful.

The hotel is perfect for what it is. The staff are friendly and always ready with a smile, but don't expect English. We checked in after dark and the door was locked, but we were quickly let in. The young man at the desk was very nice. The room was clean and had a beautiful balcony. The view of the lake was really nice. The price was good. The hotel is older, but it is well maintained. Air conditioning worked well. I would choose to stay here again when I come back to Flores.

The location! The location! The location! Especially if you’re lucky enough to get a room right next to the terrace as I did, it felt like my own personal balcony. And that view of the lake is worth everything

We were pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel and the location was. We are traveling on our motorcycles and were able to park right out front. It reminded us of time spent in Europe with the cobblestone streets and the buildings. Our room was good, hot shower, comfortable beds, good ac unit. We enjoyed the hotel, the vibe was great, the staff was friendly. The food was good and we loved the coffee.
